Drake Irish Dance

A Legacy of Irish Dance Education and Competitive Achievement

The Drake School of Irish Dance, one of the most prestigious Irish dance schools in the South, was founded in 1990 in Atlanta, GA, by Dublin, Ireland native, Karl Drake. Since its inception in Georgia, Karl Drake expanded Drake Irish Dance throughout the South, with his former student, Christina Deacy, TCRG, heading up the Fort Lauderdale area in 2015.  In 2011, Miss Chrissy won the Southern Regional Championships. That same year, she placed 16th at Nationals and 36th at Worlds. Miss Chrissy brings incredible talent, joy and enthusiasm to each class, beginner through champion level.

Today, Drake Irish Dance has locations not only in the USA, but Mexico and China as well. Over the years, Drake Irish dancers have created a legacy of competitive achievements, including Regional Champions, National Champions and World Medal holders.

Drake Irish Dance students perform for private, corporate and community events throughout the year. Please visit our Contact page to inquire about booking Irish dancers for parties, weddings, cultural events, and school & retirement home performances.
